Important: The 24-Hour Curing Rule
To achieve a durable, water-resistant rubber barrier, please follow this curing timeline:
| First 5 Hours: | Apply the first coat horizontally. Keep the area dry and free of dust as the polymer begins to set. |
| Hour 5 to 12: | Apply the second coat vertically over the first layer to create a cross-woven matrix seal. |
| Up to 24 Hours: | Allow the sealant to cure completely. Ensure no water, dampness, or foot traffic touches the area during this window. |
Easy Application Steps
- Clean the Surface: Ensure the target area is completely dry, clean, and free of loose plaster, dust, or grease. (Moisture beneath the seal will affect adhesion).
- First Coat: Dip the included application brush into the HydroShield gel and paint horizontally across the crack or grout lines.
- Second Coat: Wait 5 hours for the surface to tack, then apply a second layer vertically for maximum reinforcement.
- Let Cure: Allow the coating to dry undisturbed for a full 24 hours before exposing it to water.
