Crucial: The Sun-Curing Rule
Because the resin is UV-activated, natural sunlight is required to cure and harden the liquid:
| Step 1 (Shade): | Apply the liquid resin into the chip while parked in the shade. (Direct sun during application will make it harden too quickly before penetrating the crack). |
| Step 2 (Film): | Press the transparent curing film flat over the wet resin to trap the liquid and squeeze out air. |
| Step 3 (Sunlight): | Drive or park your vehicle in direct natural sunlight for 15 to 20 minutes to fully activate and cure the resin. Scrape off excess film with the razor. |
Easy 4-Step Application
- Clean the Chip: Use the included scraper to gently pick away loose glass fragments from the center of the chip. Wipe the area clean and completely dry.
- Apply Resin (In Shade): Drop 1 to 2 droplets of ClearGlass resin directly into the chip center. Let it sit for 2 minutes to penetrate the micro-fissures.
- Apply Film: Press the transparent curing sheet flat over the wet resin. Avoid trapping air bubbles.
- Cure & Scrape: Park in direct sunlight for 20 minutes. Once the resin is cured and rock-hard beneath the sheet, peel the film off and use the razor blade held at a 45-degree angle to scrape away the excess resin flush with the glass.
